Building Skills 4.0 through University and Enterprise Collaboration

On October 28, 2021 a (virtual) seminar was held at Chengdu University for students, researchers and academics. Prof. Y. Ouzrout gave a presentation (2h): an introduction to industry 4.0 and a presentation of the objectives of the Shyfte project.
Approximately 70 persons participated in this seminar.
KU started the ToT part 1 – Session 3 on 27 August 2021
For this session, the module concerned was: “New Product Development (Part II)”. The lecturer was Dr. Jul, from the Faculty of Business Administration, Kasetsart University.

The first UPM Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions took place from 28 July to 02 August 2021, and focused on “Introduction to Cybersecurity”, “Energy Management“, “Data acquisition and Analysys (Part 1)” and “Data gouvernance & Management” modules. These training were conducted by Dr. Khairulmizam Samsudin, Prof. Dr. Borhanuddin Mohd Ali, Prof. Dr. Mohd. Fadlee A. Rasid, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fairulhisyam Hashim from the Department of Computer and Communication Systems Engineering, and the Faculty of engineering
25 colleagues from different partner universities (CMU, KU, UPM, UTM) participated in this training session
The first UTM Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions took place from 25 to 27 July 2021, and focused on “Introduction to Artficial Intelligence Application”, “Artificial Intelligence for Computer Vision” and “Artificial Intelligence for Industry” modules. These training were conducted by Dr. Norjulia Mohamad Nordin, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Hazlina Selamat, Dr. Usman Ullah Sheikh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeong Che Fai from the Faculty og Engineering
30 colleagues from UTM and other partner universities (UPM, CMU, KU…) were trained during these training sessions. Professor Yacine Ouzrout, coordinator of the Shyfte project, gave an introduction to present the objectives and challenges of the project.
The training was very animated and was the subject of many exchanges with the participants
On July 20 and 23, 2021, Chiang Mai University started the Training of the Trainers Part 1: “Introduction to Industry 4.0”. The lecturers were Dr.Korrakot Yaibuathet Thippayawong and Dr.Apichat Sopadang, from the Industrial Engineering department, faculty of engineering, Chiang Mai University. The detailed schedule was as follows:
1. From 10.00 to 12.00: Intro to Industry 4.0: Background & Environments by Dr.Korrakot Yaibuathet Thippayawong
2. From 13.00 – 15.00 : The implementation challenges of Industry 4.0 by Dr.Apichat Sopadang.

For this session, the module concerned was: “Human Resource Management for Industry 4.0 (1)”. The lecturer was Dr. Panisara Thitatorn, from the Faculty of Business Administration, Kasetsart University. The detailed schedule was as follows:
1. 14:00-14:30, Prof. Dr. Yacine introduced the Shyfte ToT in detail.
2. 14:30-17:00, Dr. Panisara started the first course of Human Resource Management for Industry 4.0.
